Promote and develop the dive industry in Malaysia as an excellence dive destination locally and internationally.
Disclose
Disclose to the public about quality of scuba diving safety, health, welfare, service levels, training and environmental care.
Pioneer
To encourage and entice members to practice high stand of integrity, quality service and ethical conducts among the members in their business dealings.
Training
Provide scuba training to educate and publicize on the benefits of scuba diving and introduce scuba diving as beneficial activity for career and business.
COLLABORATION
To collaborate and work with the relevant Ministries to assist in the policy and industry development issues and to collect data for industrial development purpose.
MSDA Pillars
1. LICENSING
To assist the dive industry to be equipped with travel license for both inbound and outbound.
2. TRAINING
To conduct training for divers to accelerate into career and business.
3. MEMBERSHIP
To grow the dive industry and the community.
4. CONSERVATION
To create awareness on Marine Conservation to preserve the sustainability of the Ocean, Land and Climate.
5. ISO STANDARDS
To create awareness of the existence of ISO standards in Malaysia for safety and quality diving for Recreational Diving Services.
6. INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT
- To communicate and promote the interest of the dive tourism industry in Malaysia.
- To seek affiliation of with similar association, ministry, NGO, private entity to collaborate to work on smart-partnership.
- To establish business networking for members to connect and built business relationship towards professional excellence.
